DOGS IN DUNBARTON |
Dunbarton is a great community for walking dogs...but your dog must be kept on a leash at all times and you must pick up after your pooch when it poops! We provide disposal bags. Do not leave these on your neighbors' lawns! Please refer to the Dunbarton Rules & Regulations/Policies & Procedures page 6 for more details about pet ownership in Dunbarton. Thank you!

DUNBARTON BOOK EXCHANGE |
You may have noticed the bookcases in the clubhouse, filled with books on many different topics, themes, issues—and mostly fiction. The Dunbarton Book Exchange was created so residents could exchange reading material, conveniently and economically, creating a community benefit for all.
In order for the Book Exchange to work effectively, please consider the following:
How to Borrow from the Dunbarton Book Exchange…
- Take one or two books to read and enjoy at home.
- After reading, return the borrowed books or pass along to a friend.
- When returning borrowed books, please place them in the orange crate provided.
- Dunbarton Book Exchange volunteers will re-shelve the books for you.
How to Donate Books to the Dunbarton Book Exchange…
- Donate recent, gently-used, interesting books.
- Donate books you have enjoyed lately and think others would too.
- Donate audio books on CD.
- Although some books may not be current fiction, readers love the old standards too.
- Many well-known authors, Erik Larson, Donna Leon, Louise Penny, Margaret Atwood, just to name a few, are still read and enjoyed by many.
What NOT to Donate to the Dunbarton Book Exchange…
- Outdated travel books (more than five years old)
- Outdated financial tomes (more than a year old)
- Harlequin romance novels
- Books on tape (literally)
- Old textbooks
The Book Exchange is designed for all Dunbarton residents to enjoy and to contribute to. Please follow these few simple guidelines to keep it a great resource for Dunbarton.
